Coriolis Flow Meters
and Sensors

Accuracy No Matter the Fluid Type or Temperature

Coriolis mass flow meters measure the number of molecules in a flowing liquid, whereas volumetric flow meters measure the space those molecules occupy. When small changes in process temperature cause drastic changes in the fluid viscosity or obstructions cause undesirable flow profiles, Coriolis flow meters remain insensitive to viscosity and flow profile disturbances.

SumoFlo® CPFM-8103 Coriolis Flow Meters offer superior accuracy at ±1% of reading with measurement performance independent of fluid properties, eliminating the need to calibrate on different fluids. Available in a disposable, drop-in form factor for single-use biopharmaceutical applications such as chromatography, cell culture, tangential flow filtration, and more.

Coriolis Flow Meter Benefits

  1. ±1% Accuracy: Unaffected by variations in fluid velocity profile, ±1% of reading

  2. Mass Flow: Measurement unaffected by changes to fluid density, viscosity and temperature

  3. Temp. Compensation: Integral temperature sensor for dynamic, real measurement

  4. Single-Use: Sensor easily installs and locks into mounting cradle

  5. Calibration: Calibrated in NIST-tracible facility. Calibration data saved on each sensor, eliminating K-factor adjustments

  6. Scalable: One of the highest usable turndown ratio of any single-use flow meter

  7. Smart Sensor: Ability to set to alarm for bubble detect, total flow reached, no-flow or overflow conditions

  8. Liquids: Measures ionic/non-ionic fluids, including WFI

  9. Flexible Transmitter: Transmitter self-reconfigures when connected
