CPC Biotech’s Range of Pumps for Biomanufacturing

CPC Biotech offers a comprehensive pump portfolio consisting of two different pumping technologies to meet your specific bioprocessing requirements:

  • Quattroflow® Single- and Multi-Use 4-Piston Diaphragm Pumps (QF) are the centerpiece of our pump portfolio to cover the majority of biopharma pumping applications with flow rates ranging from 0.06 to 16,000 L/h
  • QL Series Multi-Use Lobe Pumps for higher flow rates from 16,000 L/h to 46,000 L/h and even higher

Because life-changing therapies rely on the integrity of delicate fluids, selecting the right pump is crucial to handle sensitive products with consistent precision while maintaining optimal process conditions and preventing contamination. With our range of Single-Use and Multiple-Use pumps, we are ready to meet your GMP-compliance requirements right from the start in early development stages like RnD and process development over to pilot and commercial scale, up to very large batch production.

quattroflow-principles

Designed for the gentle and safe transfer of sensitive liquids. The unique pumping mechanism uses four diaphragms driven by an eccentric shaft connected to an electric motor. This design ensures smooth, low-pulsation flow without the use of mechanical seals, minimizing the risk of contamination.

  • Flow rates of 0.06-16,000L/h
  • Pump heads available in Single-Use and Multiple-Use
  • Linear flow characteristic and gentle, low-pulsation operation with minimal particle generation
  • Available as bench top and OEM versions and as various drive options (HT, Q-Control, ATEX)
  • Ideal for critical applications in biopharma manufacturing, including Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), Chromatography (RFC), and Sterile Virus Filtration
L115s Quattrolobe-vertikal-offen

Rotary lobe pumping technology offers ideal conditions for use in commercial processes with large flow rates. The contactless running of the pump elements in these multi-use pumps is perfect for aseptic applications due to the complete elimination of abrasion and product contamination.

  • Sterility by design with full CIP/SIP compatibility
  • Regulatory confidence built in, using FDA- and biopharma grade seals
  • Interchangeable front-loaded single or double mechanical seal layout
  • Application-specific lobe design and selection
