CPC Biotech Launches Its Most Versatile AseptiQuik® G Connector

New option works with gamma or autoclave sterilization and a wider range of chemicals

Roseville, Minn. – Apr. 20, 2026 – The newly formed CPC Biotech, part of PSG, a Dover company, and a leading manufacturer of connectors, pumps, and flow sensors used in biopharmaceutical processing, today announced the launch of the AseptiQuik® G PPSU HT series connectors. The new connectors offer users even more versatility in bioprocesses involving high temperatures and harsh chemicals.

The newest addition to the AseptiQuik® G line of sterile connectors is BPA-free and made of durable, lightweight polyphenylsulfone (PPSU), which is compatible with both gamma and autoclave sterilization.

PPSU also can withstand wide pH ranges from 2 to 12, along with exposure to chemicals such as sodium hydroxide (NaOH), benzyl alcohol, and dimethyl sulfoxide, also known as DMSO. Most of these chemicals are used in downstream processes including chromatography and column storage, filtration, and purification. PPSU has far greater compatibility when compared to other traditional polymers used in biopharma single-use processing equipment.

“Bioprocessors want robust components that offer broader chemical compatibility across the pH scale, along with the ability to work with either gamma or autoclave sterilization,” said Laura Schweitz, product manager for CPC Biotech. “The new AseptiQuik G PPSU HT product delivers these performance requirements and works seamlessly with previous generations of AseptiQuik G products.”

A gold-colored tab distinguishes the new PPSU HT connector from earlier AseptiQuik polycarbonate (blue or white tabs) and PPSU (purple tab) products. It functions the same way as other AseptiQuik connectors, so no additional operator training is required.

“AseptiQuik products provide quick and easy sterile connections, even in non-sterile environments,” said Schweitz. “Operators can use the newest product with confidence, knowing it’s designed to perform with greater range of chemicals and at the higher temperatures (266°F/130°C) autoclaving requires.”

The AseptiQuik G PPSU HT connector is available in sizes to fit hose barbs ranging from 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4”, as well as 3/4" sanitary fittings. A 1-1/2" size is planned for release later this year. Customers can determine the new product’s suitability for their applications by requesting a sample from CPC Biotech.
