Applications
In upstream processes such as buffer and media preparation or cell cultivation, BioPro FlowSU In-Line Flow Meters provide feedback in pump or dose feeding processes.
In downstream applications such as depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, in-line buffer formulation, or chromatography, BioPro FlowSU can be used to hygienically and precisely measure the flow. The sterilizable in-line flow meter can be easily integrated and combined with different pump types, such as Quattroflow® Single Use Pumps. The integrated bubble detection adds safety to air-sensitive applications.
- Minimal Shear: Straight flow-cell design has minimal impact on sensitive cells and proteins.
- Ease of Use: Every sensor size easily connects to a standard transmitter mount for seamless integration.
- Bubble Detector: Visual LED alarm as well as integrable into PLC.
- Calibration: Pre-calibrated for every sensor size, ensuring accuracy, seamless startup, and an adjustable calibration table.
- Transmitter: Easy-to-mount holder profile with integrated electronics.
- Smart Sensor: Single-use flow measurement and air-in-line detection with one sensor.
- Size: One transmitter size scales to all tubing sizes.
- Single Use: No regular recalibrations with the SU sensor.

All sensors were within the defined specification without an individual calibration of each sensor.
