Automation & Robotics to Address Global Demand in Cell Therapy Manufacturing

Automation & Robotics to Address Global Demand in Cell Therapy Manufacturing

Overview

Where new technologies and digital intelligence meet process excellence

Automation in biopharmaceuticals and cell therapy manufacturing is helping to reduce the risk of contamination and ensure operator safety at critical points of connection during the manufacturing process.

In an effort to deliver life-changing therapies to more patients, reducing risk and enabling scalability in the manufacturing process is critical. CPC Biotech is working on ways to add robotics and automation into the process, and removing any potential for human error is a key part of the future. Robotics are now mimicking the human touch to allow operators more time to control production and monitor critical factors. These processes are aided by the use of modular components that mix and match to the demands of the production. These processes will aid to the ability to provide continuous manufacturing.

As we continue to shape the future of robotics, we will also discuss the need for standardization from regulatory agencies. Advancing the manufacturing process will allow people to develop new therapeutic modalities with robots doing the work.
